Applicable Statutes
Termination for nonpayment of rent: landlord must give 5 days written notice to pay rent or vacate. If rent not paid, landlord may terminate the tenancy and file for eviction.
Termination for lease violations: 20-day notice to remedy or vacate for lease violations that are capable of being remedied.
Termination of periodic tenancy: requires 30 days written notice for month-to-month tenancies.
