N.M. Stat. Ann. § 47-8-33

Termination for nonpayment of rent: landlord must give a 3-day notice to pay or vacate before filing an eviction action.

Termination for material noncompliance with lease: landlord must provide 7-day notice to remedy or vacate for lease violations.

N.M. Stat. Ann. § 47-8-37

Termination of periodic tenancy: requires 30 days written notice to terminate a month-to-month tenancy.
