Applicable Statutes
Termination for nonpayment of rent: landlord must give a 7-day written notice to pay or vacate before filing for eviction.
Termination for lease violations: landlord must give 30-day written notice of the violation and allow a reasonable period to remedy before terminating.
Termination of periodic tenancy: requires written notice equal to the rental period (minimum 30 days for month-to-month tenancies).
