Applicable Statutes
Security deposit return: landlord must return the security deposit, with a written itemized statement of deductions, within 45 days after the tenant vacates and provides a forwarding address.

Security deposit limit: the amount of the security deposit is limited to the amount a landlord determines is reasonably necessary. There is no fixed statutory cap.
